DoE Course for Formulators
Following a successful webinar, registration is now open for our upcoming DoE training in association with iFormulate: Design of Experiments for Formulators.
Formulations can be complex with multiple components to consider. An ideal method of investigating all aspects of the system is experimental design, a statistical technique to determine the cause and effect relationship of multiple factors on a response.
This course will introduce the concept and benefits of experimental design, explain the application of DoE for formulation and highlight the use of mixture designs for this purpose, then reinforce the learning with formulation case studies. Our courses always include workshop sessions which are very popular and help you get to grips with the technique, there will even be a chance to discuss your own work and create a design to carry out on return to the lab.
After the course you should have the confidence to plan, carry out and analyse your own designs to improve your formulations. Attendees will gain:
- A comprehensive understanding of DoE and its benefits with a clear view of how to implement it in your work.
- The skills to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of your process
- Enhanced problem-solving skills to increase the efficiency of your work
- The ability to develop novel and robust solutions to problems
Working with David Calvert from iFormulate, who has over 20 years’ experience working in formulation chemistry across a variety of industries, this course will be a valuable addition to your skillset as a formulation scientist.
