We have established generic reaction conditions for specific metal-catalysed reactions including the Buchwald-Hartwig, Suzuki-Miyaura and Mizoroki-Heck reactions.

The use of generic conditions has facilitated the rapid synthesis of compounds (from medicinal chemistry to early development) where previous synthetic strategies proved difficult, low yielding or failed completely. These reaction conditions have been proven to give efficient and effective conversion with the majority of substrates for each of the major metal-catalysed reactions.
